Speech and Language Therapy for Children

All therapists within the group are experienced, registered Speech and Language Therapists.  They are all members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice.  All also are DBS/CRB checked and are registered with the Healthcare Professional Council.

There are a number of communication issues that children can suffer from.  You are welcome to contact us to discuss your child's needs.  We offer free telephone consultation sessions with a registered Speech and Language Therapist, for parents to discuss if therapy would be appropriate for their child.

Issues with delayed speech or language.

Every child is different and all develop the ability to speak at     different rates.  If parents or other professionals suspect that a   child's speech is delayed, we would want initially to fully assess   the child's communication ability.  We always aim to make our   assessments fun for the child and to work at the child's own   pace.  Following the assessment, we would then be in a better   position to provide advice for parents and have evidence for   the type of therapy we would suggest. to move the child   forward with their speech if necessary.
